Our Partners

Our Accessories

Through innovative design practices and collaborations, we aim to reduce waste and improve our carbon footprint while creating beautiful products you can cherish for many years to come. We use ECONYL® regenerated yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre, in creating our accessory line.

Rescue

The ECONYL® Regenerative System starts with rescuing waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all the nylon possible.

Remake

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers.

Reimagine
Our products are then beautifully handcrafted in an atelier in Italy. We use only ECONYL®100% regenerated nylon resources and has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without losing its quality.

Return and Repair

You can return your bag to us at their end-of-life and our artisans will repair your bag for you. We offer a repairs service for bags that develop a defect such as a faulty zip, or have been subject to wear and tear over time. Our accessories are made by the best certified Italian artisans rich in the heritage of bag craftsmanship. A great deal of care and attention is given to each bag and defects are rare.

Sponsors of Healthy Seas

From waste to wear, we are helping to give new life to pollution. During the very first steps in production, we seek responsible solutions and bold choices that lower the impact on the environment and respond to the alarming problem of waste. We collaborate to make an accountable change; we work with our international partners, Healthy Seas, and various European Ghost Diving groups, to tackle the ghost fishing phenomenon responsible for the needless deaths of marine animals. Our mission is to clean up the ocean one net at a time and remove this waste from our oceans.

The lifecycle of our brand includes the AOIFE® team in Ireland and our partners; 950 fishers and fish farmers. Healthy Seas in Italy, ghost diving groups throughout Europe, 381 children engaged in education programmed, 75,000kg fishing nets are collected in sometimes very dangerous sea conditions with over two hundred volunteers. 585 tons of fishing nets have been ordered to date; this is the equivalent amount in weight to 5 blue whales, the giant mammals on Earth. According to UNEP and FAO reports, some 640,000 tons of fishing gear are left or abandoned in the seas and oceans every year. This is a global problem that requires urgent action.

AOIFE® is helping to offer a self-sustaining and scalable solution to the waste problem; we are expanding with our partners and helping purify water by recycling. Innovation and design solutions can inspire individuals to lead more sustainable lifestyles, reducing impacts and improving well-being. We support a circular economy and the UN's sustainable development goals (SDG).
