We offer you quality, functional products handcrafted from reclaimed, recycled and regenerated resources.

The planet’s resources aren’t
infinite, but we are providing
you with a solution.

From waste to wear, we handcraft gender-neutral, stylish bags for you to wear and enjoy; we are helping to give new life to waste and pollution; during the very first steps in our production, we seek responsible solutions and bold choices that lower the impact on the environment and respond to the alarming problem of waste. We collaborate to make a responsible change; we work with our international partners, Aquafil ®, Healthy Seas, and European Ghost Diving groups, to tackle the ghost fishing phenomenon responsible for the needless deaths of marine animals. The lifecycle of our brand includes the Aoife ® team in Ireland, 950 fishermen and fish farmers. Aquafil ®, Healthy Seas in Italy, ghost diving groups throughout Europe, 380 school children engaged in educational initiatives, 75,000kg fishing nets are collected in sometimes hazardous sea conditions with over 200 volunteers. Five hundred and eighty-five tons of fishing nets have been collected to date; this is the equivalent amount in weight of five blue whales, the biggest mammals on Earth. According to UNEP and FAO reports, some 640,000 tons of fishing gear are left or abandoned in the oceans every year. This is a global problem that requires urgent action. We are offering a self-sustaining and scalable solution to the problem of waste; we like to think we do it with style, sustainable style! With our partners, we are helping to purify water by recycling. Innovation and design solutions can enable and inspire individuals to lead more sustainable lifestyles, reducing impacts and improving well-being. Our mission is to clean up the ocean one net, one bag, at a time and remove this waste from our oceans.

Innovation and design solutions can enable and inspire individuals to lead more sustainable lifestyles, reducing impacts and improving well-being. Our mission is to clean up the ocean one net, one bag, at a time and remove this waste from our oceans. Each product we craft reduces plastic waste found in the ocean and materials that build up in landfills.

Respecting the natural world
and our society is at the top
of our agenda.

Our bags are certified with traceability solutions and produced mindfully. Linear industrial processes are about Make, Use, Dispose of and creating products that eventually end up in landfills or incinerators; a significant loss comes with a price for the economy and our environment.

Our material is manufactured in Milan by a green-certified company. We work with Aquafil and use Econyl ® regenerated yarn. It is a yarn created from waste and pollution, such as plastic nets and industrial plastic waste recovered from landfills and oceans. This waste is regenerated and recycled right back to its original purity, to a virgin nylon state when sorted and cleaned.  Manufactured in Europe, for every 10,000 tons of Econyl® raw material, 57,100 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions are avoided, reducing the global warming impact of nylon production by up to 80% compared with material fabricated from oil. Furthermore, Econyl® can be recycled at the end of its life to enter once more into the regeneration system and can be redesigned and redeveloped for modern living. Each of our bags is endorsed with an Econyl ® recycled label.

By producing purposeful, versatile products…

46%

of the 79 thousand tons of ocean plastic in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is made up of fishing nets. Fishing nets take between 600-800 years to disintegrate, not biodegrade. We want to rid the ocean of pollution and waste and help replenish natural resources. We are achieving this one bag at a time!

A profit from all of our sales
goes to Ocean clean up.

Econyl® regenerated nylon is…

The production of this fabric involves

taking waste that would
most likely have taken
decades or centuries …

… to disintegrate and then

turns it into a usable yarn,
which has infinite
recyclable possibilities.
